Info:

The Exotic Universal Genève The recent surge in popularity for the very rare watches by Universal Genève is hardly a surprise because collectors have only just woken up to how rare they really are; they were made in miniscule numbers by comparison to the rare Rolexes and on top of that they all look amazing on the wrist. For every 100 Paul Newman Daytona's made there is just one UG Exotic, they even share the same Cal 72 movement!! The Exotics are cousins to the well-known Nina Rindt and Evil Nina models with their corresponding silver and black dials with contrasting subs. This particular example, a Reference 885107, is the rarest of the Exotics. Called the Silver Exotic it is an even rarer model than its sister - the Blue Exotic Ref. 885108. The dial and hands of this example are perfect, it retains the original lume and the all-important bezel is in perfect condition with the acute accent over the tachymeter and the dot over 90. In addition to all this the new Universal Genève “TEN” book has just been published and it includes extensive references to the Silver Exotic which sheds new light on how rare they really are.
